04 - A Note on the Mountains
Where the air is crisp, the leaves turn golden, and fall feels a little like magic.
October in the Colorado Rockies is a beautiful and unpredictable time of year. As we gather among the mountains, we wanted to share a few little reminders to make your visit as lovely and comfortable as possible.
A Change in the Air
Fall in the mountains brings crisp mornings, golden afternoons, and chilly evenings. Temperatures can change quickly, and an early snowfall is always possible. We recommend bringing layers, a warm coat, and comfortable shoes for exploring.
A Little Closer to the Clouds
Our celebration takes place at a higher elevation than many of our guests may be accustomed to. The mountain air is thinner, so we encourage you to drink plenty of water, take your time adjusting, and enjoy the slower pace of the Rockies.
The Beauty of the Season
October is one of our favorite times in Colorado. While the changing leaves are never guaranteed, the mountains offer their own kind of beauty in every season. If you have a little extra time, we encourage you to explore the winding roads, historic mountain towns, and breathtaking scenery that make this place so special.
We cannot wait to share a little piece of Colorado with you.
With love,
Jolie & Devin
